Eastern and Central Community Trust (ECCT) is proactive in ensuring our office remains a safe place to work and visit during the COVID-19 pandemic. Whilst the country is at Level 1, all visitors will be required to sign in when visiting the ECCT offices at 207 Nelson Street South, Hastings.
Please be rest assured that our grant-making and social investing – along with the entirety of the Trust’s suite of operations – is business as usual.
Grant applications for all our funds are welcome, as per the closing dates (available on our website https://www.ecct.org.nz/funding/)
If you would like to apply for a grant pertaining to COVID-19 please apply via our Grassroots fund.
We are changing the way we meet with our clients
We will continue to use online teleconference facilities, such as Zoom and Skype, for meetings as often as possible, rather than meeting face-to-face.
In addition to this our staff continue to be contactable by telephone and email.
You can contact us between 8am and 5pm by phoning free on 0800 878 720 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
For general information please visit our website www.ecct.org.nz or follow us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/EasternandCentralCommunityTrust
We are increasing our office cleaning programme
We have introduced new office hygiene standards to reflect the need to clean surfaces more regularly.
We have new in-office protocols
To keep our staff safe we have refined our office protocols.
We will have contact registers in place to record everyone who comes onto the premises.
Current guidelines are that we should be 1m distance from each other at all times.
Emergency remote work plan
Our plan ensures that in the event of our staff not being able to work from our office, we can continue to provide you with the same level of service and advice remotely.
We are listening to the experts
To ensure ECCT is following the correct protocols we are taking best practice advice from the Ministry of Health. The Ministry of Health’s website provides a comprehensive overview of best practice systems which you can view on the attached link: www.health.govt.nz.
Covid-19 is a significant global event and we want to reassure our staff and customers that we are doing everything in our power to prepare, plan and protect.
